Devin "KinG Pen" Birden, Lancaster, CA native, is current owner and founder of Create Distribute Collect Entertainment. With degrees in Public Relations & Communications from Long Beach State University, Devin hangs his hat on facilitating and overseeing all aspects of the recording studio and the company's overall endeavors. With a background in music of over a decade as a recording artist in his own right, Devin has traveled the world and toured with some of today's most popular Hip Hop acts as well as manages his own record label and publishing company as an independent artist/executive. Devin's music has been featured in some of today's most popular television and Internet programming, including executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's hit TV series Power on the premium cable channel Starz.


Dennis Hodges is an award winning filmmaker who has transitioned himself from an on camera TV entertainer from his time at TMZ, to behind the camera as a Writer/Director/Editor. His first independent film “A Daughter’s Dilemma” has screened at numerous film festivals and has received an “Award of Excellence” from the Best Shorts Competition. The film also screened in Canada at the Montreal Black Film Festival in 2013. His second film "Southern Hospitality" screened at the Hollywood Black Film Festival, which has been deemed "The Black Sundance". Dennis has also directed spec commercials and music videos for rising southern California Hip-hop artists. His music videos have been published on prominent hip-hop websites such as, "The Source", and "XXL". He also is a Freelance Videographer and Editor who documents different events.


Patricia Lawson is the graphic designer for CDC Studios Entertainment and has been striving in her career field since 2007. Born in Georgia, but raised in California, Patricia has always had a mind and eye for creativity. While growing up, she kept herself very busy with joining groups, clubs, dance, cheer, and many other sports throughout the school years. During this time she also exercised her art skills by taking elective classes that helped her develop a passion for design. Since before graduating in April 2017, with an Associates Degree in Graphic Arts, she has been helping small businesses, growing companies, family, and friends with making their creative ideas turn into visual realities. She has years of experience with working on most Adobe programs in designing corporate identity, branding, and print design.


Kaelin is the consumate overachieving. He specializes in videography and photography, and brings over 10 years of professional expertise to CDC. He has dedicated his life the the Arts.

In his words: "I wake up, work out, and make videos for the passion of it, creating projects that have (and continues to) resonated with a diverse suite of cultures. My desire is to use all of my skills to assist in the development and implementation of the best, most impactful visuals for your project. I simply want to increase your career following by adding value to every project in every way possible."


Shannon is the Operations & Event Coordinator. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is an avid lover of music, arts, and community involvement. She earned her masters degree at UCLA where she studied Social Work. Her knowledge of community organizing and youth development is derived from years of working with community organizations such as the Los Angeles Mayor's Gang Reduction and the Youth Development Program "GRYD" under the direction of Antonio Viragosa. Shannon has a background of organizing youth events, parent workshops and community programs that has prepared her for her current role as the liaison for CDC Studios Y.E.A.P Program while serving as the Operations and Event Coordinator.


Mikeal Poteat, artist name "Mikey Smit" is an MC, composer, producer, songwriter, and Engineer. Mikey has engineer work with many artist such as Billboard charting artist Lorence Michaels, King Pen, Habit Blcx, The Lit Fuse, Edvanzd, Larriet Emari, and many others. He has credits for production and engineering in movies & tv shows such as the horror movie "Nocturne", which was released July 2017 and includes three of his songs. These tracks include "We Are Not The Same", "Not Everybody" and "Pop Up". He's also recorded and Engineered projects which are featured in the hit tv show "Power". Most notably is his track entitled "Grind", by King Pen and The Lit Fuse, just to name a few.


Sheldon “SV” Lawson, born in San Diego and raised in Lancaster, CA is a music producer/recording engineer. Coming from a family of musicians, he began learning his craft at the age of 5. Raised in the church, he would be found in the sound room watching the sound engineers do magic. Years later, Sheldon began to create music, perfecting his style and approach to music. He's proficient in many software packages including: FL Studio, Sonar, Reason, and Logic, and has worked with several major producers such as: Hit-Boy, Chase N. Cashe, Dem Jointz, Swiff D and artist/songwriters like: Miguel, Thurzday, Yonas Michael Stacy Barthe. He attended Art Institute of Austin to further his skill set, focusing on in-studio recordings, live sound, and live concert sound engineering. He took what he knows and decided to share this gift with CDC Studios.
